City Officials ‘Monitoring Situation’ Expected to Continue Monitoring Situation
CENTRALIA — City officials confirmed this week they are closely monitoring a developing situation and are expected to continue monitoring the situation until the situation either improves, worsens, disappears, or becomes another situation requiring additional monitoring.
According to officials, the city became aware of the situation after several residents noticed the situation and asked whether anyone at City Hall was doing anything about it. In response, officials assured the public they had immediately entered the monitoring phase, which experts say is often the first and final step in municipal action.
“We want the community to know that we are taking this very seriously,” one official said. “That’s why we are monitoring it closely, carefully, and from a safe administrative distance.”
