Dad Spends $73 Winning Child Stuffed Animal Available Online for $6.99
CENTRALIA — A Lewis County father reportedly spent $73 at the Southwest Washington Fair this week successfully winning his daughter a stuffed animal later discovered online for $6.99.
According to witnesses, the evening began with the father confidently handing over $10 and informing his family, "Watch this," before repeatedly failing to knock over three suspiciously sturdy milk bottles.
After several unsuccessful attempts, the game was no longer about the stuffed animal.
"It became a matter of principle," he explained while purchasing another round. "That guy running the booth knew exactly what he was doing."
Approximately $73 later, the father triumphantly presented his daughter with the stuffed animal, briefly declaring himself "still pretty good at this stuff."
His wife reportedly found the exact same toy online during the drive home for $6.99 with free shipping.
The family has agreed not to discuss it.
