LEWIS COUNTY, WA — A local man confirmed Tuesday that his life closely mirrors the events of the Joe Dirt, though notably lacking any of the charm, luck, or eventual success that made the movie watchable.
According to friends, the man has spent years bouncing between odd jobs, unreliable vehicles, and living situations that can best be described as “technically indoors,” all while maintaining an unshakable confidence that things are “about to turn around any day now.”
“He’s got the same overall trajectory as Joe Dirt,” said one acquaintance. “But instead of finding his parents and turning his life around, he just keeps finding new ways to almost catch a break and then immediately miss it.”
