Morton Hangs Tiny Portable Toilets in Jubilee Park So Bees Have Somewhere to Poop

MORTON, WA — After residents raised concerns about bee poop around town, the City of Morton has reportedly taken decisive action by installing several tiny portable toilets in the trees at Jubilee Park.

The miniature facilities, suspended at bee height and equipped with tiny doors, vents and what officials described as “adequate privacy,” are intended to give local bees a more appropriate place to handle their business.

City leaders hope the new system will reduce unwanted aerial deposits on vehicles, patios and unsuspecting residents, while also preserving the bees’ dignity.

Early reports indicate compliance has been mixed, with several bees seen ignoring the facilities entirely and continuing to poop wherever they please.

At press time, Morton was considering additional signage reminding bees that Jubilee Park is now a designated sanitary zone.
