Lewis County HS Football Roundup — Issue #5
Wyatt Hoffman carved up the Aberdeen defense, Napavine doesn't like to win, PWV brings the fury of Zeus!
Toledo 43, Mossyrock 6 — Toledo took Mossyrock’s game plan, their momentum, and probably their hair, in a 43 point scalping, paving 358 yards of fresh offense while the Vikings searched the sideline for a reset button.
Adna 28, Napavine 12 — The Pirates hoisted the Jolly Roger and sailed through the Tigers’ secondary; Napavine hasn’t learned to hate losing yet, but they did learn to hold their breath as Adna kept dunking drives in the end zone.
Onalaska 64, Timberwolves 12 — Ethan Thayer rolled up 300 yards and four scores like a man operating heavy forestry equipment; the Loggers fed the wood chipper, and the ‘Wolves defense became mulch for the film room.
Northwest Christian 44, Winlock 15 — NWC chewed up yardage like it was buy-one-get-one, while Winlock, ever resourceful, lobbied the league to let them play 11 man in an 8-man league.
Black Hills 48, Centralia 0 — From whistle to whistle, Black Hills set the tempo; Centralia’s best hope for next week might be a creative personnel package where the cheerleaders play in place of the players.
WF West 56, Aberdeen 21 — Wyatt Hoffman passed his way to a tidy masterpiece (18-of-27, 293, 3 TDs), and the Bearcats turned Aberdeen into a scratching post—complete with neat little claw marks in the red zone.
Pe Ell–Willapa Valley 41, Raymond–South Bend 6 — PWV unleashed unstoppable fury and then brought seconds; RSB brought grit and the mercy rule, which the scoreboard accepted with professional courtesy.
